Below the shoulders of these channels, in the center part of the mattress there aren’t these channels. There’s going to be more give in this part of the mattress. Underneath your shoulders if you’re on your side it’s going to give in a bit more, offer you a little more pressure relief. We call that zoned building and construction. You get more support when you’re on your back, but a little bit more pressure relief when you’re on your shoulders. This has very nice, unique construction to this mattress. It’s going to be a very breathable mattress overall. You can see how much space there is for air to flow through there. This top layer right here is pretty breathable general, and it combines latex-like and after that memory foam like qualities. You can have the springy-ness, not the feeling of getting stuck, but then likewise the pressure relief of memory foam. Extremely good building and construction in general. Let’s discuss firmness and feel now. As far as firmness is concerned it does have a little bit of special construction. When you’re on your side versus when you’re on your back or stomach, it feels a little bit softer. I would put it general about a 6 out of 10, simply a little bit softer than average. You have some pretty soft top layers on top here. You can press your hand in reasonably easily, and it gets gradually firmer below that so about a 6 out of 10. As far as the feel is worried, it integrates memory foam and latex-like qualities so there’s going to be some bounce to this mattress which you’ll see here. Bounces right up there. Below that there is memory foam, so you’re not going to get the sensation of getting stuck. Overall, it’s a well balanced feel, I would say. Now I’m going to speak with you about how I feel about various sleeping positions. Starting on my back, first thing I see is that my hips sink in, however not excessive. Pretty supportive feel overall, so a good match for me there. Changing on to my side you have this zoned construction so it’s a bit softer when you’re on your side. It’s actually a great match for me here. I don’t actually feel any pressure whatsoever on my shoulders and hips. It’s a great match for me on my side.
