Moving onto the mattress now. We have three layers. We have a top Airgocell foam layer which is latex-like. It’s quite springy, you can see it’s lovely soft. Can press my hand down quite quickly there. It’s also really
breathable movie overall. Then we have memory foam underneath that. You’ll see it’s that classic slow-moving memory foam feel. What’s fascinating here is that you’ll see these channels right here. Underneath the shoulders of these channels, in the middle part of the mattress there aren’t these channels. There’s going to be more give in this part of the mattress. Below your shoulders if you’re on your side it’s going to give in a little bit more, provide you a little bit more pressure relief. We call that zoned building. You get more assistance when you’re on your back, but a little more pressure relief when you’re on your shoulders. This has really nice, distinct building to this mattress. It’s going to be a very breathable mattress overall. You can see how much space there is for air to flow through there. This top layer right here is quite breathable general, and it integrates latex-like and then memory foam like qualities. You can have the springy-ness, not the sensation of getting stuck, however then also the pressure relief of memory foam. Very nice construction overall. Let’s speak about firmness and feel now. As far as firmness is concerned it does have a bit of unique construction. When you’re on your side versus when you’re on your back or stomach, it feels a little bit softer. I would put it general about a 6 out of 10, simply a little bit softer than average. You have some pretty soft leading layers on top here. You can push your hand in fairly quickly, and it gets progressively firmer beneath that so about a 6 out of 10. As far as the feel is worried, it combines memory foam and latex-like qualities so there’s going to be some bounce to this mattress which you’ll see here. Bounces right up there. Beneath that there is memory foam, so you’re not going to get the sensation of getting stuck. Overall, it’s a balanced feel, I would say. Now I’m going to speak with you about how I feel about various sleeping positions. Starting on my back, first thing I observe is that my hips sink in, however not excessive. Pretty encouraging feel overall, so a good match for me there. Changing on to my side you have this zoned building and construction so it’s a little bit softer when you’re on your side. It’s in fact an excellent match for me here. I do not truly feel any pressure whatsoever on my shoulders and hips. It’s an excellent match for me on my side. Changing on to my stomach, I would state it’s a bit too soft for me.
